
Mickey Bacelis

Master Chief Logistics Specialist Bacelis enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 2000. After completing Recruit Training and Basic Airman Apprentice School, he reported to USS Constellation (CV-64) in San Diego, California, serving until the ship’s decommissioning in September 2003.
He then reported to USS Nimitz (CVN-68) in October 2003, serving in S-8 Division, followed by a 2004 assignment to Commander, Logistics Forces in Manama, Bahrain, as a Capability Forecaster. In 2005, he joined Aviation Support Division in San Diego, California as the Supply Response Section Leading Petty Officer and completed a 10-month Individual Augmentee tour with U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Bahrain.
In January 2009, he reported to USS Preble (DDG-88), where he was selected for Chief Petty Officer. He subsequently served with Naval Special Warfare Group One, Logistics Support Unit One in Coronado, California, and was selected for Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2013. In 2015, he served as Supply Department Leading Chief Petty Officer aboard USS Green Bay (LPD-20) in Sasebo, Japan.
In 2017, he reported to 2nd Supply Battalion, Medical Logistics Company at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, as the SEL. In 2018, he joined Naval Special Warfare Group Two, Detachment Germany as the N4 Leading Chief Petty Officer, where he was selected for Master Chief Petty Officer. He later served with Naval Construction Group Two in Gulfport, Mississippi, as the N41 Leading Chief Petty Officer.
He assumed his current duty as Senior Enlisted Leader for Priority Material Office in 2026.
Master Chief Bacelis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics from Trident University. He is qualified in Enlisted Surface Warfare, Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare, Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare, and Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare.
His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (eight awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
